Executive Board Elections 2024
Elections for the SOMUS Executive Board will be held within the scope of the 1st General Assembly, that will take place at the República Museum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on March 22nd as part of the 1st International Conference on Social Museology. This will be an important step towards consolidating the Committee.
The Election of the Members of SOMUS’ Executive Board will be carried out in accordance with Article 3 and 7 of the Internal Rules of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), of June 2017, which regulates the rules within the scope of International Committees, and the ICOM Guidelines for the Elections of the Board of Internal Committees.
This process will elect 9 members to join the Board, and the candidates are:

The Executive Board Election will be held online.
In this sense, each person registered to vote will receive a specific link by email on March 14, 2024 and it will be available until 10 am (Brasília time GMT-3) on March 22, 2024.
